Tragedy in Kumanovo - Update 2

Dear brothers and sisters,

Thank you for all your prayers in this difficult time. We believe that they make a difference!

Yesterday, immediately after being released, Pastor Saso together with me and some other brothers visited the families that lost their fathers and husbands in this tragedy. The families received us and accepted our condolences. We visited the construction site as well, where the neighbors cried together with us for what had happened.

Pastor Saso and his families, as well as the family of brother Sime, who is in prison now, are still under great shock. But they have managed to keep their hopes because of their faith in Christ.

Because of the digging that was done to pull out the bodies, there was a lot of damage done not only to the pipes that we were laying, but also to the main pipe for the whole neighborhood. We are trying to find a company to finish this part of the works, but for the last two days, none of the companies we have contacted want to work on a place "that is cursed". Unfortunately this is part of our culture here. We are worried that even if any company accepts the job, they will overcharge us.

Please pray for the leadership of the Evangelical Church, as we consider the vision for this church building. The government allowed us to continue working on the site, but now many people in town point at us as we were criminals.

Finally, pray that God will turn all things for good, even though we are aware that many scars will remain

God bless you
